Our Year Round Team

Josh Schupack - Executive Director

Josh (he/him) has not missed a summer of being involved with camp since 1999. From beautiful outdoor overnight camp properties like Fuller to Inner City Day camp being run out of the basement of a Middle School, Josh has run camp programs that focus on helping campers and staff become the people they want to be. He believes strongly in the power of Overnight Camp above anything to have a positive impact on everyone involved and has enjoyed every second that he has gotten to be part of some wonderful camp communities.

Josh lives at camp with his dog, Groot. In his “free” time, he is a violin player (dabbles in Guitar and Piano) and enjoys finding other musicians to make music with! Josh is also involved with many YMCA initiatives beyond the YMCA of Greater Providence, being a member of the national steering Committee of the Disability Community Resource Network and a member of the Camp Inclusion Project for YUSA.

Primary Responsibilities: Overall Camp Fuller Management, Rentals, and Vendors

Kaelei Esposito- Overnight Camp Director

Kaelei (she/her) has worked for the Y for over a decade, mostly in camp and childcare. Kaelei grew up at the Ken-Ton Y in Buffalo, New York! She loves working at Camp because of it's inclusivity, and the unique opportunity it creates for kids to be kids and try new things!

She volunteers for the Northeast Regional Teen Leaders Club program as an advisor and staff, running weekend retreats and weeklong overnight leadership development programs. This also includes her current role as Co-Director of the YMCA Northeast Leaders School.

Kaelei lives on camp with her husband Chris, who also volunteers for the Y, their dog, Bailey, and cat, Toes. When not working she enjoys crafting, boardgames/video games and has recently gotten into skiing.

Primary responsibilities: All Things Summer Camp

If you have questions about camp, please reach out to the Camp Fuller email, campfuller@gpymca.org or Kaelei directly at khooper@gpymca.org

Dan Larivee - Grounds Keeper and Caretaker

Dan (he/him) has been a member of the YMCA of Greater Providence staff for some time but we are thrilled to have him as our Grounds Keeper and Caretaker at Camp Fuller! Dan takes a lot of pride in making Camp a better place for the younger generation.

Dan enjoys time with his grandkids most of all (one of whom is a Fuller Camper, who says it is the best two weeks and plans on returning!) Dan believes camp is the greatest thing for youth, grandkids included! Dan also enjoys golfing and hanging out with his significant other and dog on the weekends.

Primary responsibilities: Facilities and Maintenance Management

If you have questions about camp, please reach out to the Camp Fuller email, campfuller@gpymca.org. If you would like to connect with Dan directly, use dlarivee@gpymca.org!

Troy Fowler - Program Director

Troy (he/him) grew up at YMCA Camp Sloper, where he first experienced the magic of camp and the impact it can have on a young person’s life. Since then, camp has become a huge part of who he is, and he has spent years working in camp leadership to help create that same sense of belonging, growth, and fun for others. Troy is passionate about building a camp community where every camper feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to try new things. When he is not at camp, he loves spending time outside ice climbing, rock climbing, skiing, and hiking, and he works to bring that love of adventure to the Fuller community.

Primary Responsibilities: In-Summer Program Quality and Supervision; Rental Group Program Quality and Supervision.

If you have any questions about camp, please reach out to the Camp Fuller Email, campfuller@gpymca.org. If you would like to connect with Troy directly, use tfowler@gpymca.org!
